    Paul Wolfowitz personality type is ISTJ, the Guardian reported.

    In 1991, Wolfowitz was fired from the World Bank by its president James Wolfensohn.

    In a 1996 interview with The New York Times, Wolfowitz said he was a “confirmed optimist” and a “dove” who believed that America should intervene to prevent genocide.

    “I’m a dove,” he said. “I believe that the United States can and should play a positive role in solving international problems.”

    He told the paper that the U.S. should try to eliminate the threat of weapons of mass destruction from Iraq before attacking Saddam Hussein.

    In a May 2002 op-ed in The Wall Street Journal, Wolfowitz wrote that the Bush administration should support and fund the Iraqi National Congress (INC), a group that was created to overthrow Saddam and establish a democratic government in Iraq.

    He was the first Bush administration official to endorse the INC.

    “The United States should not insist on unanimity among allies — we should work with others as we see fit,” he wrote.

    Paul Dundes Wolfowitz (born December 22, 1943) is a Jewish American political scientist and diplomat who served as the 10th President of the World Bank, United States Ambassador to Indonesia, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense, and former dean of the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University. He is currently a visiting scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, working on issues of international economic development, Africa and public-private partnerships, and chairman of the U.S.-Taiwan Business Council.

    He is considered to be a leading neoconservative. However, Wolfowitz rejects the term and prefers to call himself a "Scoop Jackson Republican", after Democratic U.S. Senator Henry M. Jackson who was known for his hawkish views on foreign policy.
