InspectorGeek personality type is INFP, and when I was in college, I had a good friend who was an INFP. In fact, she is one of my oldest friends. She is a kind and gentle person who would never hurt a fly, and she often has a smile on her face even when she is crying. This is her.
I have a lot of respect for INFPs in general, and in particular my friend in this case. But I have a hard time understanding her in a lot of ways. I understand why she is the way she is, but there are some things I don’t understand because she doesn’t seem to understand them herself.
For example, she recently mentioned that she wants to get married. To someone she has known for about 6 years. And apparently this person knows she doesn’t like him, but they are getting married anyway. This is not the first time she has mentioned this, and it’s not even the first time I’ve heard her talk about how much she loves the idea of marrying this person.
I know that she has had a hard life, and she is very romantic at heart.
