Bragi only ever refers to himself in the third person, and it is believed that this is because of his unusual type. While Bragi does not see himself as a raven or a bird, he does believe that he has special powers, which are the reason why he is called “the Bard” by others.
Bragi is not a good singer, but his singing abilities are only second to his ability to compose songs. He can sing very well, but he does not see himself as a great singer. Bragi believes that his songs are simply beautiful poetry.
