Perun was considered the brother of Belobog but he has been merged with Belobog's feminine counterpart, Belobog's wife (or sister) is called Frau Perun (also known as Perun's wife).
In some faiths Frau Perun is considered to be a separate goddess from Belobog and sometimes she is considered to be a separate personification of Perun.
Belobog and Frau Perun were often portrayed together and in some depictions they are shown as having a daughter who is also depicted as being a thunder goddess.

He was first associated with weapons made of stone and later with those of metal.
