Karl Rahner personality type is INTP, but he functions as an NT. The reason I say that is because Rahner has a rather dialectical view of things, which will be described shortly.
The NT personality type is the “egocentric” personality type. NTs are the ego-centered type that is so obvious in our society. The NT personality type is what most of us think of when we think of “me”. NTs are the social butterflies, the ones that like to talk about themselves and their friends. They are the ones that like to talk about themselves, their own ideas, and how wonderful they are. NTs are the ones that like to “talk” about things with others, and to do so in a very non-confrontational way. NTs are the ones who like to “talk” without actually doing anything. NTs are the sarcastic type that likes to think they are seeing everything clearly, but miss the obvious. NTs are the ones that like to see everyone as being “just like them” – they have no real problems, or they seem to have no real problems, and that is why they need no help from anyone else.
