David Levinson personality type is INTP, but in my experience, I've found that there is a strong correlation between people who read my books and the Myers Briggs personality type. (This is not the only correlation — the most common I see is between Myers Briggs and religious affiliation — but it is the most prominent.)
When I ask people who read my books whether they prefer to be called INTPs or INTJs, almost all of them say INTP. This makes sense: INTPs are the most rare of the cognitive functions, and they're the rarest of the personality types.
However, I also know that there are plenty of people out there who read my books and say they're INTJs. Which is interesting, because Myers Briggs has changed substantially since its inception in 1971. So it's possible that there's some sort of mental shift going on in some people's minds about their Myers Briggs type.
