It’s also not hard to see why he would be in favor of the death penalty for those who kill police officers. That’s just the nature of ESTJ personality types. We are supposed to be the “law-and-order” types. We are supposed to be the people who support systems that protect and serve the rest of society.
And if that means we need to execute people who have killed police officers on the street, then so be it. I think it’s completely reasonable. It’s a sad and tragic situation when someone decides to kill a police officer, but at least they are being punished for committing a heinous act. And that is what Cruz is all about: justice.
