Lynette Alice "Squeaky" Fromme personality type is ESTJ, a character type in MBTI that is rational and logical. She was raised in a strict Christian household and had a strict, perfectionist mother. An ESTJ is logical and practical and thinks about situations before they get out of hand. Squeaky acted on impulse, like any ESTJ, and she was emotionally devastated when her mother died. She was not able to accept that her mother was gone and she became obsessed with death and violence, and tried to kill President Reagan. She wasn’t trying to change the system; she was trying to destroy it. She did not like the system and felt that it was not fair and that it left out and discriminated against her and other women. She was also very angry at God for making her female and she felt that the world was against her. She felt that she had been betrayed by God and she was looking for revenge. Her ESTJ personality type is very logical and pragmatic, so she acted on impulse. She did not think about the consequences of her actions, taking into account that her mother was dead and that her actions could lead to an attack on the President.
