Sam Kinison was an American comedian born on December 8 1953 in Yakima, Washington. Known for his crass humor and trademark scream, Kinison received his first break from comedian Rodney Dangerfield. His popularity grew, earning him appearances on Late Night with David Letterman and Saturday Night Live. In 1988 Kinison received a Grammy nomination for his comedy album. He died in a car accident on April 10, 1992 at the age of 38.
