Mr. Maellard personality type is ISTJ, which stands for “The Inspector”, and by far the most common type of ISTJ because of its extremely commonness.
The ISTJ personality type is found in over 80% of the United States population. They are the most common type of the four, and the one I am most familiar with. I’m an ISTJ myself (I would be an ESTJ if I didn’t have the other two types). The ISTJ is the first type that you meet, and they are the first to challenge stereotypes about introverts.
What is an ISTJ like?
ISTJs are the most common type of introvert (and extrovert, if you’re an ENFP). They are less interested in social interactions than the other introverted types, but that doesn’t mean they don’t like people. ISTJs are often described as “quiet” or “straightforward”. They are often described by others as “quiet, reserved, reserved, quiet”. I’ve also heard “boring” and “uninterested”.
