As if the two need to be together, considering they’re designed to be together.
But if they were to be apart, what would happen?
Kaito Daimon will try to overcome his weaknesses and defeat the bad guys and save the world and that’s all, and Makoto will just go home and play games and that’s all.
And that’s what we get with this game.
I don’t want to give too much away, but let’s just say the story is a bit on the silly side and it’s not as good as the previous two games.
The characters are still likable, but at the same time annoying, and the plot is still predictable.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I like these games and I like this series, but it’s not the best in either category.
If you’re a fan of either Daimon or Makoto, you should pick this up and play it through, but otherwise I wouldn’t bother.
