Tails personality type is INTP, which is why he’s so happy to have found the love of his life, Amy Rose.
I think that Tails’ personality is the best of both worlds. He’s a genius but also optimistic! He’s a classic INTP. But he’s a leader and a fighter, which is not typical of INTPs.
Tails also is a bit of a prankster. He’ll sometimes play practical jokes to get a laugh out of Sonic.
Sonic: (After turning his chair around backwards and leaving it in the middle of the road.) Tails, you better not ever do that again!

Tails is always ready to help Sonic, however he can. He’ll often offer to help Sonic out of his troubles and gets upset when Sonic doesn’t take him up on it.
