She died when Lex was a young boy. Lex turned out to be a sociopath and wanted revenge against his mother. He destroyed the Injustice League and had Wonder Woman killed. Lex also kidnapped Lois Lane from Smallville, Kansas, where Clark Kent lived, and forced her to become his love-slave and live in his home. Lex then decided he wanted to kill Superman and use Lois as leverage, but she refused and left him to his death.
He was later revived by Deathstroke and joined the Secret Society of Super Villains. He later became part of the Suicide Squad. He was eventually killed by Superman in "Superman: Doomsday". He is the younger brother of General Zod and Ursa.
