Dean Keaton personality type is ESTJ, and while he's not the most emotional guy in the world, we see a lot of his (and his wife's) emotions in the Downton Abbey series.
For example, we get to see a lot of him and Joan's relationship in the series. Mr. Keaton has a really solid marriage, and we see it in many scenes, including when they go to visit Joan's family at the (fictional) Convent of Sacred Heart and when they get married and continue to live together.
Joan and Mr. Keaton were even close enough that he visited her in the hospital when she was injured during an accident — although we don't see him doing that with Edna or Mary, who are both really close to their husbands.
As for Mr. Keaton's personality type, he is an ESTJ. He likes to be in charge, which is why he's an entrepreneur. He's also very action-oriented. As Mr. Carson says in episode 1x13, he is "not really good with words" but that doesn't stop him from being a diplomat.
