Ice Cap personality type is ESTP, although I’m not sure that fits exactly, since I’ve always been a thinker rather than a doer.
For me, my ice cap adventure started when I was in college, working in a library. I was on the computer when I discovered the Internet and the great world of books. From that point on, I had a computer in my home, even before my fellow students had them, so I could read the books I wanted to read.
As a kid, I had a lot of trouble reading, and my mother did her best to help me. She bought me a lot of books that she knew I wanted to read, and she never told me that she had read them herself. She kept them hidden from me until I was old enough to read them on my own. I’ve always been grateful for that gift.
I also had a gift from my father – a copy of the complete works of Shakespeare – which he gave me for my eleventh birthday. He knew that I loved reading and he wanted me to have a copy of this book to cherish.
I didn’t start writing until my forties.
