When Fiorenza was running for Congress in 2004, I did a little bit of research on him to find out what his issues were. As I did that research, it became obvious that he was not the same person I had known at all.
He told me that he was a gun owner and hunter. When I looked up his hunting license, I found out that he had shot an endangered species in Africa! That was one of his issues. He shot an African elephant.
He later admitted this was a lie. He had not shot an endangered species in Africa. He had shot an African rhino.
