Risotto is an Italian dish made with rice, stock, and Parmesan cheese. It is a very flavorful dish that is filled with carbs and protein. It can be served warm or cold.

To get the full effect of this risotto, you want the rice to be al dente (cooked just right). The secret to making perfect risotto is to not stir it! Don’t get me wrong, stirring the rice while it is cooking will help it separate and will make it creamy. That’s great and all, but if you don’t stir it, you get a much better result.

I’ve tried different ways of making risotto and the best way for me is to cook the rice in a large amount of stock and then add the cheese and stir until the cheese has melted into the risotto. This way you get a creamy risotto without stirring it for hours.

I like to add a little bit of butter to my risotto but you can add more stock if you prefer a thinner consistency.
