Ashley Williams personality type is ESTJ, and I’m curious to know how that factored into the writing.
For the purpose of this interview, I wanted to look at the story from a literary perspective, and not focus on the characters and their personalities.
When I was selecting my interview subjects for this project, I was looking for a book that I could really sink my teeth into and enjoy. I want to start this conversation by saying that I enjoyed every minute of reading this book.
The story takes place in a dystopian world where an EMP (Electro-Magnetic Pulse) has wiped out the power grid and the government has collapsed. The government and the military have taken over, and they have given up on the people, labeling them as non-essential. This book is the story of Lilly, a young woman who is forced to do manual labor for her family to survive, but she secretly has a secret job for the military. As the story progresses, we learn that Lilly was a spy for the military before the EMP stroke, and she has been tasked with protecting a mysterious cargo from falling into enemy hands.
