What is the personality type of Pete Docter? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Pete Docter from Artists Animators and what is the personality traits.
Pete Docter personality type is INTP, and I am also INTP (there is a strong probability that we are the same person, but that's a story for another day). So you can imagine that we had a lot of fun together.
We talked about the design process, the evolution of the film, and I asked him about his career and his career in animation and how and when he got started. We also talked about his next feature: Inside Out and we talked about my previous book: The Pixar Story: The Genius and the Art of John Lasseter.
I was very interested in his perspective on story structure and where Pixar went with Inside Out. I was especially interested in his insight on the creative process and how they made this film "their film."

This has been a great interview for me because it's an opportunity to hear how he thinks about the creative process and how he gets his ideas for films.
Here are some of the things that I picked up on the way.
Coincidentally, this is almost exactly the same question that I asked John Lasseter in my interview with him. It's not quite the same but it's close.
