Peterson is a clinical psychologist who has become a major figure in Canada's culture wars for his vocal opposition to the Canadian government's latest attempt to expand the power of the state over its citizens.
He is also an outspoken critic of what he sees as the overly broad definition of 'political correctness' that he believes has overtaken intellectual discourse in Canada.
Peterson has made a number of comments that have been criticized as sexist, homophobic, transphobic, and racist. His critics have called for his termination from his professorship at the University of Toronto, which he has refused to do.
Peterson's main criticism of the current state of Canadian society is that it is being re-engineered to promote political correctness over intellectual diversity. He calls this process 'the postmodern con.'
As an ISTP, I agree with Peterson that this is a real problem. I also see it as a problem for all four quadrants, not just the SJs.
