I wonder if he'll be a good enough match for the princess without being a prince. He'll have to be a really stellar guy to deserve her. I hope his princely qualities will shine through, and that the princess will see that he is a prince who deserves her (which is what the prince in the fairy tale wants to be).
I think he's mostly like his father except he's more outgoing, and when he's in love with someone, he's much more socially-inclined. I'm glad he wasn't told he was required to marry the princess (unlike in the real fairy tale where her father and people in general keep telling her she's supposed to marry a prince). I think he'll be a better fit for the princess than her current beau.
