    INTP

    INTP (5w4)

Seth Brundle personality type is INTP, the Rational thinker/creator/maker, who is more concerned with "systems" than with "people." He's a little more likely to be an engineer or inventor, rather than a social butterfly. But he is often playful, fun-loving, and light-hearted.

Seth is finding himself in a new environment, after being shunned by his family for his "weirdness" as a child. He's suddenly had to figure out how to survive on his own, and has embraced his inner weirdness to become the ultimate jester. He's still very much on the path of becoming an engineer or inventor, but he's also learning that he can be more than that—that he can be creative, expressive, and "out there" in the world.

Seth is still trying to find his true identity; his true "place" in the world. He'll do whatever it takes to achieve his goals, but he's incredibly easygoing about it. He's also very honest with himself, and will hold himself accountable for his actions.

He still has his moments of mischievousness, but he's learning to channel that into positive outlets.

Dr. Seth Brundle, also known as Brundlefly, is a fictional character and the anti-villain protagonist in David Cronenberg's 1986 remake of The Fly. He is played by Jeff Goldblum. Brundle was the second of Goldblum's "nerdy scientist" roles, and is one of his most famous roles to date. The character of Brundle was played by Daniel Okulitch in Howard Shore's 2008 opera The Fly in its premiere at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.
