He subsequently took over the facility and ran it as an isolationist camp alongside his security team. Jim executed a number of Cloverdale's employees who attempted to exit the facility and bring their families to the facility for safety, and later took up residence in the main building with many of Cloverdale's other security guards. When asked why by Sarah, Jim's answer was simply that he "couldn't take the risk."
