Reticulated Python personality type is ESTJ, which means “The Executive.” The ESTJ has several characteristics that are backed up by their name, such as the ability to set goals, organize and prioritize, and maintain order.
“I know where I want to go and I don’t plan on stopping until I get there,” said one of our participants. “I wake up at six in the morning and my bed feels like it’s made of cement, but I don’t want to get up until I get to where I want to be.”
The ESTJ is driven by their goals, and they take a concrete approach to achieving them. This can lead them to get things done quickly, without the nuances of other personality types that often require more time – but that’s not to say that they lack tact. They are very practical and will often accomplish their goals more quickly than others.
“I don’t waste time,” said another participant. “If it takes me longer to do something than anyone else, then that’s just the way that I work. I like to get things done.”
The reticulated python is a python species native to South and Southeast Asia. It is the world's longest snake, and listed as least concern on the IUCN Red List because of its wide distribution. In several countries in its range, it is hunted for its skin, for use in traditional medicine, and for sale as a pet. It is an excellent swimmer, has been reported far out at sea, and has colonized many small islands within its range. It is among the three heaviest snakes. Like all pythons, it is a non-venomous constrictor. Adult humans have been killed by reticulated pythons.
