Short-Toed Snake Eagle personality type is ISTJ, which means they think and feel concretely and logically. They are loyal, serious, and organized. They are decent judges of character and usually make good leaders. They are decisive, and like to plan things out carefully, usually to the benefit of their people. They aren’t usually impulsive, and they prefer to think things through before making a decision.
This was one of the most interesting personality types that I had read about, and I was fascinated by the descriptions of the ways that ISTJs tend to interact with the world. Most of the descriptions of traits and behaviors were accurate – ISTJs can be loyal and serious – but there were two details that surprised me: first, the ISTJ is the only personality type that does not make a distinction between internal and external motivations; second, they do not make a distinction between facts and values.
The first point surprised me because many of my friends are ISTJs, and I assumed that they always made those distinctions, but I discovered from reading this book that not everyone makes those distinctions. I had a couple of friends who were ISTJs, and they were really smart people.
The short-toed snake eagle (Circaetus gallicus), also known as short-toed eagle, is a medium-sized bird of prey in the family Accipitridae, which also includes many other diurnal raptors such as kites, buzzards and harriers. The genus name Circaetus is from the Ancient Greek kirkos, a type of hawk, and aetos, "eagle". The specific gallicus means "of Gaul".
