Velvet Worm personality type is INFP, so I can relate to many of your struggles. I know the feeling of being misunderstood and the confusion of not knowing why people say things that hurt and don't seem to make any sense. I've been in and out of relationships and have had to resign myself to the fact that I am who I am and never will be able to find someone who can understand me or accept who I am. I do think that you're right about the fact that no matter what, there will always be someone out there who will accept you and who will love you. I think it just depends on the person and how you present yourself. It's hard to explain, but when I'm in a relationship, I can be very outgoing and talkative, but in a non-romantic setting (that is, not in a relationship), I tend to be very quiet and reserved.
I know what it's like to feel like no one understands you and I'm sorry that you feel like that. It's hard when you're in a relationship, but when you're single, it's even harder. I know how it feels to want to connect with someone who understands you and who can accept you for who you are.
