The Beast of Bray Road is a large, humanoid canine cryptid reported to inhabit Elkhorn, Wisconsin. The first documented encounter with this animal occurred in 1936. It is usually described as a very large wolf-like creature capable of both bipedal and quadrupedal walking.

In the 1990s, the legend was investigated by reporter Linda Godfrey, who later authored the book The Beast of Bray Road: Tailing Wisconsin's Werewolf. Despite the book's title, the beast isn't actually a werewolf in the traditional sense in that it doesn't shapeshift, and has no human form.
