Warg personality type is ISTP, but I don't think this is going to be the case.
I would say that the ISTP Warg has an Introverted Thinking preference, which is the only thing that I can really identify from this description. Otherwise, I don't see how he can be an ISTP.
In the last paragraph of your description of this character, you say that he has a "semi-restrained, almost silent nature," but you also indicate that he "goes with the flow." This isn't really a Warg trait, nor is it characteristic of ISTPs.
Finally, in your description you say that he is "cautious, careful." This is not a Warg trait.
It's possible that this character is an ISTP, but he would have to have all of the Warg traits to be an ISTP.
You could also consider it a possibility that this character is a Warg Personality type, but you will have to provide a more detailed description of his personality traits.
