Hyperpop personality type is ENFP, who, according to Keirsey, is a "Tradition-Trainer". This means that the ENFP is a person who seeks to understand the world around him. He or she is a "realist" who has a strong desire to learn about the world and how it functions. In other words, the ENFP is a person who wants to know things, and try to figure out how they work. He or she is not overly concerned with right and wrong, or with what others think of him or her. In essence, the ENFP wants to understand how things work, and wants to utilize that knowledge for their own good.

To some people this sounds like a crazy, self-centered idea. However, if you take a minute and think about it, a lot of things work this way. For example, some people go to school to learn how to make money. They go to college to learn how to make more money. Some people go to school to learn how to make a better living, and they go on to college to learn how to make a better living.

Hyperpop is a fusion of pop and electronic music that grew into popularity in the late 2010s and early 2020s. Its roots can be traced back to the bubblegum bass stylings of the PC Music label and the electropop of the late 2000s and 2010s, while also often drawing influences from other EDM and hip hop subgenres. Songs in the genre typically stick to a standard pop formula but with an emphasis on more unconventional and abrasive sound design (metallic percussion, distorted synth leads, etc.), as well as heavily manipulated vocals making use of effects such as autotune and pitch-shifting, often to the point of making them sound inhuman or robotic. Aesthetically, hyperpop builds on the high-tech net art style of the PC Music label and other bubblegum bass artists, as well as its exaggerated femininity, which is often portrayed in an ironic or "camp" manner. The genre is also strongly tied to and was primarily popularised by the LGBTQ+ community to which many fans and artists belong to.
