The big question of our time is whether the future will be shaped by people of the ENTJ type, or by the people of the INTP type.
I think that this is the century in which the majority of the world’s population will be dominated by people of the ENTJ type.
This is because they are numerate, rational, decisive, charismatic, and practical. They see themselves as carrying out the will of the Most High. Distrusting of other people’s motives, they are able to use subtlety and cynicism in their dealings with them.
They are also good at creating simulations that fool the INTPs, who tend to be idealists who wish to see people’s best qualities in all circumstances.
The INTPs are good at developing new ideas, but they are poor at using them in practice. They can be terrific artists and musicians, but they often lack practical skills like engineering or construction. They are also vulnerable to irrational fears.
This is why they are often drawn to religious fanaticism, where they can act on behalf of their whims without restraint.
The Appian Way (Latin and Italian: Via Appia) is one of the earliest and strategically most important Roman roads of the ancient republic. It connected Rome to Brindisi, in southeast Italy. Its importance is indicated by its common name, recorded by Statius:
Appia longarum... regina viarum
"the Appian Way the queen of the long roads"
The road is named after Appius Claudius Caecus, the Roman censor who began and completed the first section as a military road to the south in 312 BC during the Samnite Wars.
