ISTJ (1w9)
Graphite personality type is ISTJ, which makes me a 5, but the site says I should be an 8. What's up with that?
In the ISTJ section, I get a description that says, "You have a profound love of order and routine, and you really enjoy keeping details in line."
So, I like order and routine. I like organizing things in my life. But what does this have to do with the Infj side?
When I was in the Jungian seminar, we talked about functions and the type. I told the group that there were different kinds of functions. The ISTJ part of the type had some things in common with the INFJ part of the type.
For example, they're both introverted, and they both have a strong preference for Extraverted Thinking functions. But they also have some things that are different.
For example, INFJs are an internalizing type, with Introverted Feeling being their auxiliary function. ISTJs are an externalizing type, with Introverted Thinking being their auxiliary function.
So, because I'm an INFJ, I should be an 8 for the site, right? So are INFJs supposed to be ISTJs?
