What is the personality type of Papa Doc? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Papa Doc from 8 Mile 2002 and what is the personality traits.
Papa Doc personality type is ENTJ, and is marked by a dominant, extraverted intuitive function (ex. Ne) that is expressed in the tertiary (ex. Si) and inferior (ex. Te) functions (see fig. 1). As we saw in chapter 4, the tertiary function is the rationalizing and abstracting function, and the inferior is the sensory and concrete, holistic perception function. Ne and Si are both synthetic and impersonal, and they make up the tertiary and inferior functions—ne for abstract and impersonal syntheses, and si for sensory and concrete perceptions. The dominant function is extraverted intuition, which has a rationalizing and impersonal character, but it also involves sensing and concrete perceiving. Ne and Si together create an impersonal synthesis of impersonal, abstract, rationalizing analysis and sensing, concrete, perceptual analysis. As we saw in chapter 4, we use this two-way combination of impersonal analysis and perceptual analysis to create a synthesis of abstracting analysis and personal perception: we perceive or sense with our feelings and intuitions or feelings. This is the formula for the content of the tertiary and inferior functions: abstract and impersonal feeling + concrete feeling = impersonal feeling + concrete perception.
