Sharon personality type is INTP, but I've been told by others that I am an ENTP. I don't know what I am, but all of my friends refer to me as an INTP. This part of my personality has been a problem for me for a long time.
My mother is an ENTP and I was only exposed to her personality type through her. I've had a hard time understanding and accepting my own, and I haven't been able to communicate with others about it.
I was looking at some of my best friends' profiles on LinkedIn, and they say they are ENTP. Perhaps they are, but they are also INTPs who are just being more open about it.
What I have come to understand is that this is not a bad thing. I am not less of an INTP because I am more open with it than my ENTP friends. We all have our areas of strengths and weakness, and even though I have found that the problem areas of my personality are not as prominent as those of my ENTP friends, it does not make me less.
Another thing that has helped is looking at the other functions within my personality.
