    Pied Piper
    INFP

    INFP (4w5)

Pied Piper personality type is INFP, and my dad is an INFP. I think there is a little bit of the Pied Piper in all of us, but it is most present in artists, and the INFPs and INTJs (the dominant and passive versions) that we see in the arts.

If you’re an INFP, and you think “I would be good at selling,” I say “Go for it!”

I think we all have a little bit of salesperson in us. I can sell someone something as well as any salesperson. But I also know that if the salesperson were the CEO of a company, they wouldn’t be as successful as they could be. They would focus too much on the numbers, and not enough on the customer and what they want and need and how they feel and how they interact with the product. It’s important to be aware of how we come across to others, and how we can adjust our selling methods to fit with our personal strengths and weaknesses.

If you want to be a great salesperson, it’s important to know what you’re good at and what you need to work on.

The Pied Piper of Hamelin is the titular character of a legend from the town of Hamelin, Lower Saxony, Germany. The legend dates back to the Middle Ages, the earliest references describing a piper, dressed in multicolored clothing, who was a rat-catcher hired by the town to lure rats away with his magic pipe. When the citizens refuse to pay for this service as promised, he retaliates by using his instrument's magical power on their children, leading them away as he had the rats. This version of the story spread as folklore and has appeared in the writings of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, the Brothers Grimm, and Robert Browning, among others. There are many contradictory theories about the Pied Piper. Some suggest he was a symbol of hope to the people of Hamelin, which had been attacked by plague; he drove the rats from Hamelin, saving the people from the epidemic.
