Sammy personality type is ISTJ, so he's very logical and therefore very consistent. He does things the way they're supposed to be done, and he knows when he's crossed the line. This is why he's always so straightfoward with his students. They eventually learn that he's consistent because he never makes exceptions, and that he's logical because he doesn't make assumptions. He expects them to be consistent and logical, too.
But this is also why he gets frustrated sometimes. He knows the rules, and he follows them, but sometimes they don't make sense to him. When someone crosses the line, Sammy gets irritated, angrier than he would if the same person had done something wrong.
Sammy is very particular about making sure everything is in its place. If he has to do something over again, then he does it all over again. The best example is his room. He has to keep his bed made every day (he doesn't really like it that way, but it's important to him to have everything in its place). If he has to change something or redo something, then he does it all over again. If Sammy's room is messy, then so is his mind.
