Athens, Greece personality type is INTP, but this is neither a diatribe against his personality type and strengths and weaknesses, nor a diatribe against those who say that those who are “intellectual” are those who are “left-brained.” I’m not sure what the next step is here, if it is to say that those who are left-brained are not as intellectual as those who are right-brained—because this is a very reductionist way to view it, and it leads to a much more complex understanding of the human mind and the human condition.

The subject of this letter was a particular argument that had been going on in the comments section over a series of posts I had written about the definition of a person, the use of the word “person,” and the personality types that have been described as being that “person” or being classified as a certain personality type.

In this particular case it seems that one commenter was making a case that people with a personality type labeled as ISFP were not necessarily “people” because they were not necessarily human.

Athens is the capital and largest city of Greece. Athens dominates the Attica region and is one of the world's oldest cities, with its recorded history spanning over 3,400 years and its earliest human presence starting somewhere between the 11th and 7th millennium BC. Classical Athens was a powerful city-state. It was a center for the arts, learning and philosophy, and the home of Plato's Academy and Aristotle's Lyceum. It is widely referred to as the cradle of Western civilization and the birthplace of democracy, largely because of its cultural and political impact on the European continent—particularly Ancient Rome. In modern times, Athens is a large cosmopolitan metropolis and central to economic, financial, industrial, maritime, political and cultural life in Greece. In 2021, Athens' urban area hosted more than three and a half million people, which is around 35% of the entire population of Greece.
