At the end of the day, I think that all of us as human beings are just people who are doing the best we can with what we've got.
So I wanted to put down some thoughts that I think would be helpful for everyone, not just those of us in the autism community.
I'll start by using the example of my own family and the thing that really stuck out to me was one day when my dad was talking about a movie that he and my mom had watched together.
And he said, "On the one hand, it was a very inspiring movie that taught us so much about life and love and family, and on the other hand, it was just very sad, because a couple of characters in this movie were just so lost and unhappy and wanted to do things differently than they were."
So I thought that was really interesting.
And I think that's something that I learned from my dad.
He was always really interested in things like philosophy and psychology and all of those things.
