Dinobot personality type is ESTJ, and Optimus Primal is ISTJ.
It's true that Optimus Primal is based on the original version of Optimus Prime, and we've seen him with the same personality type, but we haven't seen him with this personality type.
Can we say that he's ESTJ? No, because he's only ever been seen in the same situation and with the same personality type twice (the first time after Megatron killed Optimus Prime). That makes him the only character we've seen with this personality type who can't be said to be ESTJ.
My point is that if we want to say that he's ESTJ, we need to see him with this personality type at least once more (and probably more than once), which doesn't seem likely.
Even if it's possible, I don't see why it's necessary to call him ESTJ. ESTJ is probably the most common type, but it's not the only type, and it's certainly not the most interesting type to use -- HE IS AN OPTIMUS PRIMAL! He's not a robot with a human mind, he's a human with a robot body.
