Apollyon personality type is INTP, which is the least common type. (As of the writing of this article in May, the APT score was 8.3, which makes it the fourth least common type). This type is the least common among the nine archetypes, and is still quite rare. In an article on the personality types of the Cylon models, earlier in this series, I speculated that APT was an adaptation to the Cylon environment that allowed Cylons to develop empathy for human emotions. I also speculated that these adaptations might explain why every model had a unique APTs score.
In "The Young Turks," a book about the history of The Young Turks, a predecessor of Cylon models, it is claimed that most Cylon models were INTPs. It is also claimed that only one model was an ESTP, and that model was killed off in the pilot episode. Why, then, is every model in "Beauty and the Beast" an INTP? I don't know, but it is possible that this may have been a deliberate choice on the part of the writers.
The INTP's greatest strength is their ability to think abstractly and creatively.
