Heine said he developed his leadership skills to help him through his teenage years and throughout his adult life. “I’m a very confident personality type and I’m always looking for new challenges, so finding an internship abroad was a good way to expand my skills and knowledge,” he said. “I think it’s important for everyone to learn something new and that’s what I’ve done.”
Heine said he enjoyed his time as a volunteer in South Africa as much as he enjoyed his time at the Dutch Embassy.
