At the age of 12, he started a blog, and at the age of 16, he began posting on a forum. He was one of the earliest users of the forum, and was a great admirer of the site’s founder, Yukiko Mase. This admiration grew into a relationship, and Komori was initially his personal assistant. In 2006, he decided to enter a professional relationship with Mase, and took over running the site.
In 2008, he became the sole owner of the site. He is married to Mase, and is said to be very loyal to her. Her influence is said to have helped him tremendously in the growth of the site, and he has expressed his gratitude for this.
In 2012, Komori released an autobiography called Na no Chikara, which details his life from his childhood to the present day. It is currently unpublished, but is expected to be released in English in late 2016.
He is a member of the Business Club at JSPC, and is a frequent speaker on various online forums.
While to the outside world Komori appears to be a polite and popular boy who wants to become a doctor, in reality he wants to change the world by sacrificing the educated in a similar manner to the Khmer Rouge's revolution in Cambodia. He tells Akira that he is going to build an everlasting empire, and that he will be king and she will be his queen. He dies at the hands of Hoshimaru after introducing immense fear into Akira and Shiina's hearts. His friends and living family do not know of his death; they believe he has simply gone missing. His disabled mother, unable to live on her own, dies soon after Komori's death. When Komori dies, everyone but Shiina and Akira believes that he went missing, and therefore the people do not know the truth about his situation.
