Travis Bickle personality type is ISTP, I’ve always thought of myself as a straight-shooter. I never think of myself as biased or politically correct. I notice that people are emotional and I get emotional, too. I’m not very good at keeping my emotions out of my job, either. I’m not sure what type is best for this.
I’m very tough on my staff—I’m very hard on them. You can tell by my body posture. I feel very strongly about the work that we do, and I have a lot of faith in my ability to recognize talent and recognize a good idea when I see one. I trust my own judgment, but I don’t trust a lot of other people’s judgments. You have to have a good sense of your own judgment to be a leader, but you also have to have a good sense of other people’s judgment. It’s a fine balance, and it takes a lot of years to learn how to do that. And then you have to be able to change your mind when somebody else has a better idea.
