Bob Probert personality type is ESTJ, so he's a natural leader. But I think he's even more of a natural leader than he is an introvert. He's a jock. He was a star athlete in junior hockey, and I think that formed a lot of his personality. He's a great leader, not only on the ice but in the community.
He's a true leader, and that's what I love about him. He's a great player, a great captain, and a great role model. I'm very proud of him, and I'm excited for him.
Q: Do you have a favorite memory from his career?
A: There's so many. One of my favorites has to be when we won the Stanley Cup in '97 in Detroit, and he was a big part of that. The way he played in that series was unbelievable. I remember the series against the New York Islanders when they were in our building, and he just carried that team to that cup.
He was a tremendous player, and I'm very proud of him. He's a real role model for me, and I'm looking forward to his future.
