I've been writing fanfiction for almost two years now, and I never realized how much I didn't know about Harry Potter until the Harry Potter fandom was all over my social media feeds. At first it was just a joke: "I can't believe Harry Potter is having a baby! If Harry and Ginny got together and had a kid, what would that child be like?" I was joking, but then I realized that if I wrote a story that explored the Harry Potter characters as adults, the story would have to have some bearing on J.K. Rowling's canon. And that was when I found out that the Longbottoms are the only ones with an open slot to have a child.
And so I made it happen.
This story is about Credence Barebone. Credence has been around since the beginning of all of this, but she's never gotten her own story.
