He's willing to be pragmatic if it means protecting his friends, but he's also willing to be incredibly idealistic if it means protecting his friends.
I love this series, but it's hard to pinpoint just one thing about it that I really love. I think it's because I fell in love with all of its characters, and even though some of them appear in only a few chapters, I felt really connected to them. I'm not sure if this is similar to how great authors make you feel when you read their books, but I truly loved this series. It's not my favorite manga ever, but it's my favorite manga this year.
I also think that this series was my favorite because it made me feel so much. It made me feel things that I haven't felt since forever.
