While his father is an adventurous individual, with a tendency towards risk taking, the son is seen to have a more cautious nature. He is more interested in studying and learning about things rather than spending time with his friends. He is a bit of a loner and is only interested in one thing at a time. He tends to be more interested in gaining knowledge rather than expanding his experiences. As such, he makes good use of his time studying. In spite of having a more cautious nature, he is quite intelligent and was able to get a full scholarship to school.
He is also shown to be more serious and studious than his father.
