They have a plan, and they want to do the best job at executing it. It's not because they're necessarily competitive or driven by perfectionism; it's because they know that their ideas make things better.
I've always liked this description. There is some truth to it as well as some exaggeration as ISFPs as a group tend to be the most creative and the most concerned about how things work. This is especially true for those who are very creative and very interested in their "field of expertise" (like architects and engineers).
