What is the personality type of Yog-Sothoth? Which MBTI personality type best fits? Personality type for Yog-Sothoth from Cthulhu Mythos and what is the personality traits.
Yog-Sothoth personality type is INTP, and this is a very different kind of personality type from the more mysterious Yog-Sothoth. However, the two are related in the sense that both are thought to be extra-dimensional, and both have similar methods of controlling their minions.
The actual material from which the Yog-Sothoth card was drawn is also related to this. In the notes to the deck, it’s written that the author was inspired by a “giant squid-like creature” (which is presumably a reference to H.P. Lovecraft’s At the Mountains of Madness) to create the card. The “giant squid” is a creature in H.P. Lovecraft’s stories that is associated with the Elder Gods, and which has both telepathic and telekinetic abilities. This makes sense: At the Mountains of Madness is written from the perspective of an Antarctic expedition which encounters a creature so alien that it has no natural predator, and which is able to teleport and manipulate objects telekinetically. The creatures in Lovecraft’s stories are often associated with space and time, which fits well with the idea that the Elder Gods are extra-dimensional.
