Grimm personality type is INTP, but I am an ENTP. I was a bit worried about the ENTP description, because I have never been a very good "people person" or a great deal of interest in socializing with others. I always felt a bit of a disconnect between my natural personality and the personality I had learned to present to others.
My personality type was difficult for me to understand growing up, too. I remember my mother telling me that I was introverted, but not very quiet or shy. Other people seemed to feel that I projected an image of confidence, while I felt very self-conscious.
I have found that my personality type is quite similar to ENTP, in that I often have a lot of energy that needs to be channelled into something productive or creative. I don't find that I have much time for socializing, but instead prefer to spend my time designing things or playing around with computers.
My personality type has been very helpful in my career, but I have found that it can be difficult to get along with others. Even though I don't have many close friends, I have found that being myself has made it easier for me to deal with others.
