Cavetown - Banana Bread personality type is INTP, and I am ENTP. I know it's odd, but the only reason I'm posting here is because I've been reading your blog for a long time, and I decided to join so I can talk to you more.
I'm in my late twenties, and I'm an INTP. I've always felt different than most people, but strangely enough, it only started to bother me when I was about 12 or 13. I was just starting to get curious about my personality type, I would read a little bit about it here and there, and I was starting to feel like maybe I wasn't the only one who "felt different". When I was about 14, I discovered MBTI for the first time. It was all very exciting for me - and it was all a little scary at the same time. Like, what's my personality type? Why do I feel so different from everyone else? Why do I feel like something's "missing" in my life?
I was a very shy person as a kid - but that was only because I had nobody to practice with.
